CANSA SHAVATHON 

Saturday 6th March, 2010 @ 12.00pm onward

We all know someone who lives have been touched by cancer, so get your heads down to Walkhaven Dog Park on Saturday 6^th March and help us to show solidarity to those living with cancer!  Shave or spray your head (or your dogs!) for a donation R50/adult and R25/children under 12 – dogs at the special rate of R20!  All funds raised from the Shavathon will be donated to CANSA.  We are still urgently looking for volunteers to help shave/spray – please contact me as soon as possible if you are able to assist!

Grrrreat news for those of you who will be supporting our CANSA Shavathon on Saturday 6^th of March!  The fantastic Roy Schoombie and Jump the Q will be coming along to support and entertain us all.  Roy was the driving force behind the development of the Muso’s Jam Nights at O’Hagans, Douglasdale and Rock Cottage which has grown to include Banbury Cross Village on Wednesday evenings. Those of you who have had the privilege of seeing Roy in action will agree that this drummer, with over four decades  of experience in the industry, is a force to be reckoned with.  

This is a man on a mission to celebrate and promote the cause of drumming and has kindly offered to assist us in our bid to fight Cancer.
