Are you tired of the decrease of open parkland and the ever increasing restrictions placed on dog owners?  Well then, Walkhaven Dog Park was created with you and your family in mind!

Walkhaven Dog Park is situated in the Muldersdrift area right next to the Cradle of Humankind on 22 hectares of rolling grassland.  We also boast a fully stocked dam surrounded by lush wetland that is home to a large variety of our feathered friends.  Braai and picnic facilities are strategically placed throughout the park should you wish to bring your own refreshments.

Inspired by the owners Dave & Lorna Fowler, Walkhaven Dog Park opened its gates to dog lovers in 2006.   Originally, simply a secure place to exercise dogs, Walkhaven Dog Park has grown to include the dog friendly  Walkhaven Kitchen, The Dog Box, Jurassic Bark Kennel and our function and entertainment area, Lapamanzi. 

Walkhaven is open 7 days a week for your convenience and enjoyment.  Our restaurant, Walkhaven Kitchen and the Dog Box are now open Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays 08h00 to 18h00.  Thee Dog Box is now open Friday afternoons from 14h00 to 19h00 for sundowners on the new deck! 

Entrance to Walkhaven Dog Park is R20 per adult and R10 for kids under 12.  For our regular visitors an annual membership to Walkhaven is available for only R300 per adult per year (kids under 12 free with parent members).  Members enjoy free unlimited access to Walkhaven Dog Park as well as a 10% discount on kennelling and venue hire at Lapamanzi!
